She brought a rulebook to the windmill

Entered in Week of November 2, 2026

Our first date was mini golf. She said she liked a little friendly competition. I'm a guy who once lost at solitaire, so I figured her evening was sorted. At the first hole, she produced a laminated rulebook and asked me to initial it. Her rules included no distracting shadows and a two-stroke penalty for "smug breathing." At the windmill, her ball rolled back toward us. She declared mechanical interference and asked the attendant to stop the blades. He said that was the obstacle. She asked for the obstacle's maintenance history. By hole six, she'd appointed a stranger waiting behind us as a witness. He declined. She recorded his refusal on the scorecard. I finally said I was going to stop playing. She announced that this counted as a forfeit and requested a photo of me presenting her with the pencil. I handed it over because some victories should be documented. She posted the picture with "Still undefeated." Technically true. Nobody has ever stayed long enough to beat her.
