No. You need an account to post, vote, react, comment, or win.

How do I win?

Post your story. The story with the most points at the end of the week wins.

What is the difference between The Ick and Dumpster Fire?

The Ick is worth 1 point. Dumpster Fire is worth 2 points, and you get 5 per week, so use them on the stories that earn it.

Can I vote for my own story?

No. You can share it so other people vote for it.

When does the week end?

Sunday at 11:59:59 PM Eastern. Winners are announced Monday.

What do winners get?

A digital restaurant gift card by email. Prize amounts are on the contest page and in the rules.

Can I use real names?

Use a first name, a nickname, or make one up. Full names, phone numbers, emails, and addresses are removed automatically. Naming the restaurant or bar is fine.

Why was part of my story removed?

Our check found something that could identify a real person. You can edit and resubmit.

Can I post anonymously?

Yes. Turn on Post anonymously and your story shows Anonymous Diner instead of your handle.
