She tried to pay with a side quest

Dinner was great until the check arrived and she slid the server a sealed envelope. I figured gift card. Nope. Inside was a riddle she had written: “I have branches but no leaves. Where does your payment sleep?” The server said, “A bank?” She tapped her nose like he'd qualified for the next round. Apparently she'd hidden another envelope beneath a planter outside. That one contained directions to a fountain, where the FINAL envelope allegedly contained payment. I said I wasn't comfortable making someone complete a scavenger hunt to get paid. She told me most guys loved her spontaneity. The server brought over the manager. She whispered, “Ooh, a boss level.” I paid for dinner and tipped generously. On my way out, I checked the planter because apparently I'm also part raccoon. The second envelope said, “The real treasure is excellent service.” There wasn't even a bank.
